As mentioned in #2 there were obscure warning message when converting version 2.0a5x to HTML. When fixing that ticket and removing the legacy xref entries, the warning disappeared - so we do not have them in 2.0rc.
But I wonder whether dome information was lost (e.g. some details that could have been added to these xref entries - for the record, they were artifacts of an earlier build, but maybe they were afterwards manually edited). = Marked for a check, not to forget it.
