Missing Login/Register Feature #281

The current implementation of our project lacks a login/register feature. The aim of the project is to make a startup page for browsers with features similar to MacOS's Spotlight, including searching and enhancing usability and resourcefulness. However, without a login/register feature, the project is missing a crucial component for user management and personalized experiences.

Impact:

User Management: Without a login/register feature, we cannot manage users effectively, which limits our ability to provide personalized content and settings. User Experience: Users will not be able to save their preferences, search history, or other personalized data, which can negatively affect their experience. Security: Implementing authentication can help secure user data and restrict access to authorized users only, enhancing the overall security of the application. Future Development: Adding a login/register feature now will make it easier to implement other user-specific features in the future, such as personalized recommendations, user-specific notifications, and more.
