Recently Instagram seems to have denied opening pictures if you are not logged in, at least on a computer. Here hiding the login dialog might be less than ideal. This issue should evaluate and implement some mechanism to improve upon current UX:

Start showing login dialog again?
Workaround to still show picture?
Instead open the picture link, which still seems to function, just not as a popup.

Currently considered fixed with the merge of the feature-ignotloggedin branch. Biggest problem is probably now that you loose your scroll position when visiting and image and going back to a profile.
