App is unstable when opened for first time with location services turned off. #1399

OBA 18.2.1:

App is unstable when opened for first time with location services turned off.

Steps to repro:

  1. Turn off location services on new iOS install
  2. Download OneBusAway from App Store
  3. Open app for first time

You will see an error message, a default region will not be set and the app will be unstable and crash regularly.
