Synchronize with Linux Kernel 3.18.44 #18

This PR includes the well tested code from previous PR #16 and synchronizes the tree with Linux Kernel 3.18.44.

This merge comes with following caveats: 1) This merge is by no means complete. It is only a partial merge. 2) API/ABI remains the one on the stock 3.18.20 and changes that break API/ABI compatibility were not implemented. 3) Given the two points above, several files were ignored and need manual merge to sync with upstream. 4) Untested! Needs a great deal of testing before implementation!

Closing for now. I've done test merges to ElementalX branch, of this latest PR and WiFi stops working.
