React-native 0.68 newArchEnabled support #186

Please Add The Following

I have follow onesignal guide to install on a react-native project based on version 0.68.2 with new architecture enabled. On iOs it works fine. On android it was impossible to build Any suuggestion?

@kappu72 Thanks for reporting, to confirm onesignal-gradle-plugin is the issue can you try removing it to see if it fixes your build?

Sorry for the late response, yes I confirm that removing apply plugin: 'com.onesignal.androidsdk.onesignal-gradle-plugin' I'm able to compile the app

@kappu72 In your case since you are using newer dependencies I would recommend omitting the onesignal-gradle-plugin from your project and only use implementation 'com.onesignal:OneSignal:[4.0.0, 4.99.99]'. Most of adjustments that onesignal-gradle-plugin makes to help with compatibility are for older projects, but you are using compileSdkVersion 31 and a new version of the OneSignal SDK so you can omit it.

Hi @jkasten2 just to confirm that removing the plugin and adding the implementation in app module build.gradle it works fine. Thanks
