Search functionality UI #125

When the user switches off advanced search, should we clear the marked areas of the tree or not. I'm not sure what the more 'expected' behaviour would be. I'm happy with it as is, but think it's worth an issue and some consideration.

After (still quite limited) user feedback so far, it seems the advanced search is popular and one option would be just to have no simple search at all and have only the advanced search.

I actually wonder if in practice the simple search is rather a more advanced user option, it's for someone who already knows their way around the tree and just wants to get somewhere fast, it's not for someone who is new to all this and starting to learn where everything is.
