Provide a clear and concise description of the issue

I was looking through the ScrummVM official download page and there is now a standalone App for Mini Mini that is version 2.8 of ScummVM, it is different from the standalone included with Onion as well as the Libretro core. It launches and adds my games just fine but launching a game causes the screen to glitch out. I'm wondering why this isn't compatible

We use our own build for precisely these reasons. Their build doesn't contain some changes we've made, and also doesn't have some of the higher res engines(and if it does, they don't work). If your games are glitching it's very likely a resolution issue where scumm is trying to run a 800x600 game on a 640x480 screen with no method of downscaling.

I'm not sure what we can do with this as the issue seems more directed to ScummVMs dist of their own software & I know you're struggling with Broken Sword at the minute (slow cursor/high pitched audio) so we'll look into it, but I'm closing this one as it's not really related to Onion. Please raise it with ScummVM if you wish to try their build.
