Proposal Issue: #13

Code changes:

Modified the omp pragmas and the diffusion calculation as proposed in #3.
Increased the job runtime for the big test from 10 minutes to 20 minutes.
Modified print_summary within util.c to report total time to 4 decimal points for a more fine-grained time report.

The performance increase is reported in the related issue.
