Glitchy Minimap when pausing in MQ dungeons on VC #1738

When you pause the game in a dungeon, in some seeds the minimap will briefly glitch out as you pause.

There are thoughts that this maybe started after boss shuffle was added? Might be VC-only? I'm not sure the specifics of reproducing this issue. Keep an eye out for it.

My VC inject of vanilla MQ weirdly enough has a pretty similar issue, I think it happens on GZ as well but I'm not sure. Interesting to see it show up here on rando for the first time.

Can you describe in more detail what it looks like when the minimap glitches out please?

I played a seed a few days ago from main branch (don't remember if it was dev or not) that had this glitch still. I think it only happens in MQ dungeons on VC? I have a vanilla MQ inject wad that exhibits the same behaviour (and iirc GZ does the same thing), but rando didn't used to do this until relatively recently.

When you pause, the minimap glitches out. It uh, it just changes to some nonsense while the pause menu is coming up.

Is it possible that this was introduced by #1487? Probably worth testing that. That PR was merged as version 6.2.39, so the idea would be to check both that version and 6.2.38.

I can't remember if it consistently occurs in the current version or not. If not, it might make it hard to track down exactly which change is responsible.
