Please correct if I'm wrong, but it seems like using SerialUSB.print() and then SerialUSB.write('\n') sends two successive DTRs and thus the receiving end ends up not getting anything i.e. it gets a string with no termination and thus drops it, then it gets a blank string with just the termination. This behavior happens with .NET's SerialPort.
