It's hard to push the dowels through the thumb PQ12 horn #110

It's a tighter fit than the other end of the PQ12. The finger dowels are ok because the caps make it easier to assemble. They allow the dowel to be placed in loosely, then pushed through the horn using a vise-grip.

Maybe a jig to do a similar thing could be made?
