Deprecated `GeometryCollections` are not supported any longer. #389 #395

Removes support for GeometryCollections, which already have been deprecated in 1.1.0.

Implements #389

Keeping this open until we have merged datacubes into draft-2.0. Afterwards, I need to update this branch and check again that no new GeometryCollections "sneaked in".
