Yes, we intend to support the same OSes as the original app did, eg. Windows, MacOS and Linux. The build system already takes care of that.
Regarding AppImages, this will indeed be the only supported installation method on Linux for the time being. Two reasons for that:
- the build currently fails for the RPM package (and I don't have the time to look into it)
- since OpenLens is currently not published in any official repo (apt, yum, dnf), there is very little benefit to using the deb package, for instance, since you won't receive any updates,
It will get better as time goes on though.

What is the scope that you are currently thinking of in terms of operating systems, app distribution systems? Are we fine linux appimages as a start?
