Nice! It looks great! The only issue I saw was some formatting in the blog post. The following initial sentences seem like they're supposed to be headers:

I'll work on an FAQ after next week. We should all be thinking as well of things that we might write for the blog (and how we'll decide what fits and what doesn't, who plays the editor role, etc.).

There is actually a WYSIWYG editor for markdown called prose.io to help with writing and publishing content. I'm happy to act as the site mechanic but welcome help.
