You should use latest pre-release builds on Windows 11 as those contain latest changes and better support for Windows 11.
Though it may not help as MS is constantly changing the way how things work in Explorer.
Tried that just now. Didn't work 😞. Are there any other possible solutions? Thanks x
I'm having the same problem on the latest version of Windows 10 x64. I terminated the Explorer processes while I was trying to troubleshoot another program, and now I can't get Open Shell explorer settings to take effect. My main use is the toolbar buttons.
Oh wow, 500 open issues vs 700 closed. Looks like this project is dead :(

I checked this https://github.com/Open-Shell/Open-Shell-Menu/discussions/1770 and it's already enabled.
Ah, found the fix: https://github.com/Open-Shell/Open-Shell-Menu/discussions/1719#discussioncomment-8384958 - View -> Options -> Classic Explorer bar.
Describe the bug
Classic Explorer (latest version) stopped working from one day to the other on Windows 11. Tried uninstalling, restarting, reinstalling and installing all features, but the settings I apply don't show up, no matter what I do. Sad, because I loved the XP navigation pane.
