Can you post screenshots of your taskbars? And also mark the primary one (the one you have on your primary monitor).
Do you use some other customization software (such as ExplorerPatcher)?
Also please, post full Windows version (you can find it in Settings
-> System
-> About
, something like 22621.2070
).
Thanks ge0rdi, The screenshot of the taskbars is just below my original bug submission text - see above. (It's the very narrow small coloured bar immediately below the text). After messing around with settings, my taskbars have reverted to (what I assume is) correct behaviour with the Start Button to the left of the taskbar icons, and all are centered in the screen. See new attached screenshot. Windows version - see second attachment. Thanks

re: And also mark the primary one (the one you have on your primary monitor). Done - see first screenshot. The primary screen is the left one.

Ah, sorry, didn't notice it among all the other big screenshots.

Yup. That is hot it is supposed to behave. As custom start button should always replace original start button. What did you change?
Maybe it was just some refresh issue (where the secondary taskbar wasn't updated properly) that disappeared when you restart machine or just re-logon.
Thanks ge0rdi, re: Yup. That is hot it is supposed to behave. As custom start button should always replace original start button. What did you change? I'm not sure now ... I was trying everything to get the Start Button back to the left while leaving all other icons in the center.
re: Maybe it was just some refresh issue (where the secondary taskbar wasn't updated properly) that disappeared when you restart machine or just re-logon. Thanks - yes, quite possible!
Onward ....
Describe the bug
When I attempt to align the start button, with two screens, the behavior is not as expected. With an earlier version of Open-Shell, I could align the taskbar buttons in the center of the taskbar, but keep the Start Button (Open-Shell) aligned to the left. I understand this is no longer possible with the latest version of Open-Shell (4.4.190 at this time). This is a real pity - I'm sure many users would like to have this as an option. However - this aside - when I changed the Windows taskbar alignment, and separately the Open-Shell properties, I get a strange result where the left screen has the Start Button on the left of the taskbar icons (all centered in the screen), but the right screen has the Start Button on the left, with the taskbar buttons aligned in the center (which is really what I want as my default). Any suggestions? (See screenshots - attached)
