Describe the bug

The windows start button overlaps with the custom icon I pick and nothing I do changes it.

To reproduce

Install openshell Launch Change custom taskbar icon

Expected behavior

No response

Open-Shell version

4.4.191

Windows version

Windows 10 Home 22H2

Do you use other customization software (like ExplorerPatcher, etc)?

Custom start image should work well on Win10 (unlike Win11 where we are unable to hide original start button).

Are you using Startisback or Startallback? This usually happens when those two programs are used together.

I'm having the same issue as well on windows 11.

I'm having the same issue as well on windows 11.

This ticket is about Windows 10 where we are able to completely replace start button (so issue like this is not expected).

On Windows 11, unfortunately, we are unable to replace start button. Thus we can only overlay custom image on top of standard Windows button. If custom image contains transparency then original image will leak through that.

There is nothing we can do about this on Windows 11 (currently). More info in #1631.
