Please, provide screenshot for clarification what exactly you mean.
Classic Explorer
toolbar can be disabled by right clicking on the toolbar area and deselecting Classic Explorer Bar
option.
When Open-Shell
is uninstalled it is supposed to remove all its components, including Explorer toolbar.

Ok i had to modify the registry because the toolbar wasn't dispearing even after the uninstallation of classic explorer (i had a little white line instead).
Deselecting the option doesn't work because each time you re-open another explorer it reappear again. I had no toolbar before installing the classic explorer btw.

That is know issue (#1526). It seems Windows Explorer changed its behavior after some update. See https://github.com/Open-Shell/Open-Shell-Menu/issues/1526#issuecomment-1631893316 for workaround.

I assume it was setting Locked
to 1 in Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar
that helped. Is that right?
