Windows 10 App submenu shows vestigial Microsoft Edge entry

Windows 10 Start menu ([Shift]+[Win]) image.

Windows 10 Open Shell menu ([Win]) image.

Not so much a bug as a minor annoyance.

Open Shell in its Apps submenu displays an item for Microsoft Edge with my default plain text file icon. The Windows 10 Start menu doesn't show it.

Press [Shift]+[Win] to display the Windows 10 Start menu, scroll down, no entry for Microsoft Edge under M.

Press [Win] to display the Open Shell menu, select Apps, an entry for Microsoft Edge appears between Maps and Microsoft News.

Open Shell shouldn't include such an entry.

Currently using

• Open-Shell Menu 4.4.160
• Windows 10 Insider build 21390, but this has been a problem in the last several Insider builds.
