Windows 7 clock flyout for windows 10 #848

Open WaterMelon4938 opened 3 years ago

WaterMelon4938 commented 3 years ago

Is there any way to re-enable the win32 clock in windows 10? I know startisback++ can but I don’t want to buy it. And I don’t want to use a beta version of startisback.

WaterMelon4938 commented 3 years ago

I don’t mean gadgets I mean the clock you get when you click on the clock button in the taskbar in windows 7 for windows 10

Open Shell is not a crowd and turnip's Startmenu, neither that have an Taskbar (it comes from MS/WinNT) neither nor that it remotely has anything to do with the foreigner program startisback++.. You should test out the OpenShell, then think what you write and then should it also something to do with OpenShell, We have no responsibility of any taskbar (okey skinning, but this is something else) and clock's in it, OpenShell is not, i emphasize especially for you, not of anything Microsoft Software and therewith can you, if you in mental and spiritual possibility to understand, close this issue, because it have nothing, not even remotely to do with Open Shell ..

thank you and good night..

That isn’t what I meant. I have used open shell before. And I wanted to know if there is a way to get the win32 clock fly out in recent versions of windows 10. I don’t want a paid program. And this is a feature request so if there isn’t a free program that can get the win32 clock back maybe open shell can try and do it. And unless someone is the owner of open shell I don’t want to be told to close this issue. Thanks. P.S I don’t want to start an argument because they never go anywhere and they make enemies.

blackcrack commented 3 years ago

the owner is the Founder of Classic Shell and if you make you're self enemies it's your thing, i can only say you, OpenShell is not a supporter of any clock or some System thing from MS, so fit this issue not to OpenShell, because OpenShell have nothing to do with someone Clock .. so ..

It makes changes to the start menu and file explorer. It's not an unreasonable request and you appear to just be flaming for whatever reason. Harassment hardly is right thing to do here and you're incorrect about who maintains Open-Shell. It's a fork of Classic Shell and not by the same author. When he sees this issue, he can judge it accordingly. It would be helpful if mockups were available in seeing how to manipulate the win32 api to achieve this feature but it likely would be an extension, not part of OpenShell itself.
