Database for rat #429

hey, everyone!

would anyone have a database for rat (with cyp/PgP expession)? I need to simulate IP concentrations...

Dear @anafunguetto,

We are currently working on such a database. However, it will still take a while till we make it publicly available. In the mean time you could enter the data manually. What CYP are you looking for?

Hi! thanks for the return.

Good to know you´re making this information possible!

We´re looking for pgP expressions in rat (brain, liver and intestine). We are also looking for rat enzyme activities (CYP3A4 and CYP1A2)

sorry for the late response. The Cyp1a2 should only be present in the liver.

In our data base, the expression pattern of P-gp (Abcb1a) (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/gene/170913) in the rat look like: image

For CYP3A4 it is a bit more tricky, since there are several homologs in the rat and sex specific differences in expression: image

Here you should consider liver and intestinal activity.
