Basis for discussion of "Redesign of Applications".

Known Problems with the status quo:

  1. Definition of new applications a-la PK-Sim in MoBi impossible (and is often required)
  2. Application are bound to concrete molecules
  3. Application structures too complex, editing/modifying very error prone
  4. If the same formulation is used in different administration protocols in PK-Sim, it's duplicated in the model.

To be discussed:

  1. Is it possible to transfer of PK-Sim concept ("Administration Protocol + Formulations ➡️ Applications") to MoBi (at least for "easier" application types)
  2. If no: how to improve the current application structure
