The PBPK of Amikacin has been previously developed in PK-Sim using clinical studies in preterm-neonates. As this reported model was based on an adult amikacin PBPK model using data which was only reported as an abstract (Wendl T, Niederalt C, Becker C, et al. PAGE Athen 2011) for which we dont have the data available for publishing, here we have only evaluated again its predictive performance of glomerular filtration rate (GFR) mediated clearance in adults by means of visual predictive check using 1 available publication of amikacin IV administration in adult. As soon as more data becomes available for publishing we will add these.
