Feature: Export PI to Excel (and R code) #1579

For Reporting, it would be convenient, if PI results could be exported in a convenient format to Excel (and maybe later even to a format that could then be used externally within R for customized PI)

Seems that those are 2 different features: Reporting and R-code generation. Would you please open another issue for the R code? Regarding (Excel-)Reports: what should be exported?

Regarding (Excel-)Reports: what should be exported?

not sure about the other plots...

Yuri05 commented 4 years ago

@StephanSchaller To be honest I don't really understand the use case. Is it just a report (then: why Excel and not Markdown/PDF/...?). Or should the data be somehow processible in Excel (otherwise: why should observed data be exported to Excel)?

StephanSchaller commented 4 years ago

Well Excel format was intended for convenient re-use in R.

But this might now be covered by #1582 ...

SO for reporting only, yes, markdown/PDF is fine... but likely less urgent than the export for further use in R...
