same remark as #2104 Almost all parameters can be varied in PI except the one where it does not make sense (e..g changing those parameters would compromise the model)

Hi @msevestre , what does your table above mean? If "can be varied" = 0, this parameter cannot be optimized, right? But for quite a few parameters above (except parameters such as BMI or formula-based parameters) I could imagine a use-case.
Here is an example of a useful Parameter in MoBi I cannot find in the PI in PK-Sim (and neither in you list):
99% of the parameters shown in https://github.com/Open-Systems-Pharmacology/PK-Sim/issues/2103#issuecomment-1067214856 are absolutely of no interest. They are just supporting parameters used internally by the models and cannot be understood by anybody without a lot of 🍸 🍸 🍸 Changing most of those parameters will also destroy te model integrity. There are very few parameters which could be shown as read-only and very few parameters which could be potentially enabled for editing. So I would suggest to go through the parameters table and select those few parameters, which can be either edited or just shown as read-only.

I vote for exposing everything in the "very advanced view". So basically have the same acces as in mobi. This can break the model? Well, that's why it is very advanced, but this should not be a problem of the developers.

I am ok to expose new parameters. All of them, even the one that do not make sense at all, does not feel right to me. The tool should no that the Avogadro constant should not be changed. We have some help parameters that if changed, will not only BREAK the model (100% sure) but also will BREAK the app in some subtle way.
...and what about the example above (P_cell_int_factor)?
As I said above: there are (few) parameters where enabling editing might make sense. Like P_int<=>cell factor
, Km/Vmax/CL Interaction Factor
, etc.
So let's identify all those parameters and enable/show them.
But we should not allow editing of parameters, which are either well known constants, or which are defined in the way where changing them makes absolutely no sense and will corrupt the model. And we should not show those tons of supporting parameters which cannot be explained to anybody (and in fact nobody cares what they do. They are purely internal artifacts.
Have an additional "very advanced view" that exposes all model parameters to be selected for optimization.
