How can we enable the green energy industry to automate repetitive tasks?

This involves:

1. Identifying specific use cases relevant to the green energy industry (i.e. job positions, associated tasks, and relevant software applications)
2. Creating recordings involving one or more relevant applications, and implementing tests for corresponding completions:

• Microsoft Excel
• AutoDesk AutoCAD
• others?

Use cases:

1. Solar/Turbine Technician
   • Tasks:
     • keep accurate reports of work performed
     • refer complex customer inquiries to higher level technical staff or manager
   • Relevant software applications: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
2. Data Analyst
   • Tasks:
     • gather and complete data entry and review of utility data
     • assess energy and consumption baselines and report on the effectiveness of various energy initiatives
     • complete financial analyses of design options
     • monitor data quality and identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies
     • create data visualizations and reports
   • Relevant Software Tools: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Power BI
3. Mechanical Engineer
   • Tasks:
     • prepare and revise documentation in various mechanical phases
     • develop models of mechanical systems and provide markups
     • perform and/or review/approve engineering calculations
     • develop and/or review/approve mechanical drawings (isometrics, orthos, and occasionally P&ID's)
   • Relevant Software Tools: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), AutoCAD
4. Project Manager
   • Tasks:
     • convert findings into public reports
     • manage ongoing communications (social media, newsletters, website, etc.)
     • organize events and presentations
     • grant identification, coordination, writing, and research
     • develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
     • complete and submit permit and/or grant packages and follow up to ensure permits and/or grants have been attained
