There's quite a bit of overlap between AidStream's defaults and the IATI field requirements for NGOs required by the Dutch and British governments. These are the fields that overlap: • Activity_Identifier • Activity_Title • Description_General • Activity_Status • Actual/Planne_Start_Date • Actual/Planned_End_Date • Implementing_Participating_organization • Recipient_Country • Recipient_Region • Sector
If we include the fields that are default according to AidStream's Github, we could also add Contact_info, Budget, Transaction.
Could this also inform which priority fields need to be included?
See Aidstream activity import template spec : https://github.com/younginnovations/aidstream-new/wiki/Activity-Creation#2-bulk-activity-import
@rolfkleef - could you grab a template from AidStream please? We could compare with the workbook (ticket coming up)
Just wanted to clarify:
These two comments don't seem to thread together. To follow-up:
I noticed in testing AidStream that, by default, 'contact info' 'location' and 'results' details are turned off in the 'Choose Elements to Show/Hide' when setting up a new organisation.
Given defaults heavily influence user behaviour I wonder if this might be an important issue to engage with in seeking to improve provision of data.
