Write blob for donations #46

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Now that our basic donations platform is set up, we need to have some documentation on the our Github page for donations.

Describe the solution you'd like Open to suggestions on where and how it should be added; I suggest adding a small blob to README.md to anyone who visits the site.
