Describe the bug When I added two images and one video file, I did not see thumbnails as expected, but rather the attached "no image available" images.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Add two photos and one video
  2. These images show up in upload scene

Expected behavior Thumbnails that are grayed out should show up.

I have no idea how you reproduced that. Besides with one move: Add files, which are not images or videos. Of course, there's not going to be image thumbnails for a lot of them. But even PDFs work.

If you actually used images, then please describe what you exactly did. Because normally it does produce thumbnails. And I didn't experience any circumstance, yet, where it didn't.

Where did you put these? I cannot see them here in the issue.

What exactly do you refer to when you talk about the "first comment"? This one? https://github.com/OpenArchive/Save-app-ios/issues/275#issuecomment-1936073401

Sorry, I can't find any screenshot in there, and also no helpful comment.

Or do you mean the opener text of the issue itself? I don't see anything changed there, too.

I cannot reproduce this problem from that information. Did you use broken files? This is not typical behaviour. If thumbnails couldn't be created in this generic case, it would have been fixed by now.

It also might take a short while, until all thumbnails are generated. But the UI should update within a second or so. Is that what happened? Did it take longer? Unsure, though, how that could be fixed. For me, this seems to work stably within under 1 second.

Anyway, there seems to be a very specific circumstance, what you experienced to have happened. If you cannot provide any more details, I don't know, where to look at. Sorry.

I'm not sure why there is confusion, I'm talking about the original post in this thread above. No thumbnails generated, even after many minutes. Not sure what more information you need, but this has happened to me 3 times, can @ryjen set up QA to try to reproduce?
