I'm removing this from the 1.0 milestone. I think we both think this isn't the greatest use of effort, as hosts can, and arguably should, batch properly ... probably better for their own use cases than a repeating time value thing could.

Please shout at me when you're back in if you think I was too hasty. Would have spoken to you about it if you weren't on holiday :)
