Time series temporarily showing noise #1205

Open pellet opened 9 months ago

Problem

Since upgrading on Windows and Mac from v5.1.0 to v5.2.2, I can now see noise temporarily in the first 0.5 second of the time series for some channels. I can reduce the noise from showing by moving the cyton board further away from power line interference .

Expected

I'm not sure why the noise is showing, because it disappears from the time series as time goes on? If this is expected behaviour it would be good to know why it is happening(and why it decreases when moving away from power cables).

Operating System and Version

Windows 10, Windows 11.

GUI Version

v5.2.2.

Are you running the downloaded app or from Processing/VSCode?

The downloaded app.

Type of OpenBCI Board
