Unable to Connect to Ganglion Board Macbook #1213

Problem

We have the two ganglion boards to match with the EEG Headband and BLE112 dongles. OpenBCI_GUI is installed and seems to run without any problems, it is only when I click on to connect to the Ganglion Board via the dongle, neither of the devices seem to appear. Perhaps important to mention, I am using a USB-C to USB-A converter to insert the dongle. I did my best to follow the posts in this forum but couldn't sort out the issue. I imagine it is not the hardware which is problematic as neither of the boards seem discoverable via bluetooth but perhaps a problem with the Mac compatibility.

P.S. I updated the Ganglion Board drivers, and unfortunately it didn't solve the issue.

We are running a time-sensitive project so a fast response would be much appreciated.
