Cannot reset wifi credentials without connecting #96

Is there a way to reset the wifi credentials with the prog and reset buttons? I was able to connect to our university's wifi, but not able to see the device on the network for some reason. To clear the credentials and try again, I have to walk outside far away from the wifi then come back in, which is a hassle. Is there no way to factory reset credentials?

As a side question, I'm also wondering why I can't see it on the uni wifi. Maybe something with the enterprise-level something or other? It's a passwordless wifi network.

Hey @nateGeorge, have you tried the "reset" button on the wifi shield? You might have to hold it down for a bit but it should work.

I tried holding down reset for 10s, also tried holding it down for 10s when turning it on. Neither reset the credentials. I think all the reset button does is interrupt the power circuit, so holding it down probably doesn't do anything. It would probably have to be done with the prog button somehow. It would also be nice to have the LEDs flash some signal to let you know when it's cleared the creds.

Also after trying the holding down of the reset button, it seems something has broken, because the reset button doesn't seem to properly work any more. It turns off, but the LEDs don't properly come back on, and the main signal LED stays weakly on. Don't try holding down the reset button for 10s at a time. It probably shunts the power in some weird way or something; maybe it'll come back after resting overnight. It still works except for the reset button, so I may not be able to update firmware now.

I wish they would've went with the particle photon instead of ESP8266. The photon is much more reliable and better quality, and not that much more expensive relative to the headset and overall boards.
