How do you change the sample rate frequency?

I have a Cyton Daisy + wifi and want to change the sample rate beyond the default 1000 Hz frequency. I assume the process is something like:

• change some variable somewhere in the .ino code
• build the library (generating the .bin file?)
• upload the bin file to the wifi board

I haven't been able to figure it out yet. Can anyone provide more details on how to do this?
