Disclosure: I hold 0 BTC and 0 BCH

In the eyes of those that support on-chain scaling and moving forward in a permissionless environment a decentralized commerce network like OB cannot depend on off-chain solutions that will turn Bitcoin into something that's completely different from the original vision (Lightning Network nodes that will most likely require KYC and who knows what the costs will be)

I for one abandoned this project when I saw that it was being built on top of a blockchain that was never going to be able to support the transaction volume this network would require.

Now that there's a blockchain that does not consider payments under $10 like spam, there might be some light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to Bitcoin support as a medium of exchange.

If you want to accept BCH in your store please up-vote. Not trying to pump another coin, just trying to see if I'm not the only one who thinks BCH should be accepted.

No hard feelings if this issue gets closed right away, there's always a fork button and perhaps a patch will be accepted later in the future.

I appreciate the request and do want to support multiple currencies and Bitcoin Cash would most likely be an easy one to add. I would prefer to not do it as a complete switch to another currency. We will need to do it in a way that we can support multiple properly. I plan to put this on the roadmap so there's no need to make this into a separate battle right now.

yes, I also see it as another currency, not a replacement :)

As someone who really respects your thoughts and engineering, but has not had the chance to work with you, I hope that us working on adding alts can encourage you to come back eventually.
