Error: Failed to connect to root. The username and / or password are incorrect. #1159

I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 OpenBazaar Server v0.12.3 OpenBazar Desktop 2.2.4(as per package.json) I've downloaded OpenBazaar server using this link. I've configured username and password using the command which is setapicreds

When I try to connect the desktop with server using valid credentials.

I'm getting following error. In Desktop:

Error: Failed to connect to root. The username and / or password are incorrect.

In Server:

I was able to reproduce this error a few minutes ago on 0.12.4.

@i-am-vivek The error is due to having an incorrect username and password configured on the client (or otherwise failing authentication). The error is esoteric and the change above should remove the confusing errors as it relates to authentication. I'll add some better logging to the error output in the upcoming release.
