New login stuck in a loop (local dev env) #1097

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Set up a local dev env
  2. Click login and sign up for a new account (if you already have an existing account in Dev, use a different email)
  3. After confirming the email, you will be redirected to /login and the page redirects itself back to login
