Hello. My wacom one tablet now keeps completing loops if I pick the nb off the tablet too quickly ie If I draw an open braket it adds a line from the bottom of the bracket to the top to complete th loop. I've made sure all drivers are up to date for both Wacom and Openboard. Help! image

Can you please provide more details about your system? What operating system are you using in which version? Which OpenBoard version are you using? Does this happen since some specific update of OpenBoard or any other component of your system? What exactly do you mean with "if I pick the nb off the tablet too quickly"? Can you explain more detailed under which circumstances this happens?

This problem does not happen to other users. So it is important to have as much information as possible to find out what the difference of your system might be.

Hello

This started happening a few weeks ago. since then I have updated drivers and updated to Windows 11 to try to stop it happening. It only happens in Openboard and not other systems.

So the problem is the extra lines you can see in the image below. This should just be (x) but the bottom of the bracket has been joined to the top as with the sides of the x. If I hesitate before lifting the pen onto the next stroke of the pen this doesn't happen.

Thanks

Just a guess: probably it is related to another issue causing dots to appear. Can you try the suggestion from here: https://github.com/OpenBoard-org/OpenBoard/issues/537#issuecomment-1048487187

Note that you have to add a space between the program name openboard and the - of the parameter -platform windows:nowmpointer.

You may also play around with switching Windows Ink in the driver on/off.

Do you remember what you changed or updated at the point in time when the issue started to appear?
