Is it possible to add isometric grip paper to openboard? I do quite a few isometric drawings with notes and cannot use openboard for that.

Thank you

Maybe adding an option to import a picture or a pdf file as a background would be the solution ?

That will also work very well, thank you

You can add an image as background to a single page e.g. by dragging an image file to the board. Then use the selector (arrow), click on the image, use the menu button and select "Insert as background".

You can add the pages of a PDF document as background. Each page of the PDF creates a new board page where the PDF is the background. You can do that via the import dialog or by dragging a PDF document to the board.

Also a long click on "Add page" and selecting "Import page" can be used for images and PDF documents.

I often do that but the background does not "loop" like the other backgrounds.

See my PR #888. If it gets accepted, then you could easily choose an isometric grid as background pattern.

+1 on this !
