First of all, i would apologize for my english. I use every day and every hour openboard, i'm physic and chemistry teacher in France. Openboard is a magic tool, i can write/use my Interactive Video projector/tablet to make school sequences interactives. Thanks a lot for all. I have to write ions formula like CO_3^2- , with de letter box tools, but there is no indexes or exponent possibility. Is-it possible to add this feature?? Thanks and long live to openboard. MB

The new pre-release v1.7.1rc-240202 (download link on the bottom of that page) contains a new App called Latex2Svg. This allows you to use Latex notation to do anything you want:

The widget also supports mhchem. Omit the leading and trailing $ from the examples on this page.

After creating the formula, you can drag it to the board and remove the app.
