How to get rid of the clicking sounds during recording? #995

I use a MACBookPRO (Intel) with the latest firmware. When recording the OpenBoard activity there is a load-clicking sound on the recording. How do you think I can stop the added sound from being introduced?

OpenBoard records what is coming in from the Microphone input. So you should try to find out what case of these clicks are. Is it the mouse clicks which are recorded too loud? Does is also happen in absolute silence? Could you use another microphone?

Often the internal microphone in a laptop records any keyboard and touchpad usage much too loud. Here an external headset would help.

Thanks for your response letsfindaway,

Is it the mouse clicks which are recorded too loud? - No, it makes a clicking sound even when I'm not using the mouse. Does it also happen in absolute silence? - Yes Could you use another microphone? - I don't have another microphone, but when I use a different program to screen capture openboard, the clicks disappear

Here is a short example - https://youtu.be/RzNNBMhEK8E - from no mouse usage to some mouse usage.

I hope to get to the bottom of this as it will be great not to use two programs to produce videos.

Looking forward to possible solutions.
