Need to follow-up on this comment. Seems like having Superior be a mandatory entry, with a default "zero" string when there is no Superior, is more of a usage convention to be documented in a C2SIM coalition agreement than to have as a requirement in the C2SIM standard. Also, there is a tradeoff in usage of Side and Allegiance, where Allegiance permits more non-symmetrical relationships. Making Side mandatory might not be necessary.
