Incremental update of statecu-test script #3

Need to make an incremental commit of the statecu-test.bash script.

The script has been cleaned up based on experience using it.

Test dataset variants are now located in an exes folder in order to simplify file management. Previously listing the variants was complicated by other folders in each dataset folder.
