As of TSTool 14.0.3 a dialog is shown to select HydroBase. This does not automatically define a datastore (must edit a datastore configuration file to do that). StateDMI now handles this by automatically defining a datastore when a database is selected at startup. This ensures that the datastore features are always enabled. A similar approach can be taken with TSTool so that the HydroBase "input type" can be phased out.
