A CNAME needs to be created pointing staging.codeforcharlotte.org at emergence.codeforcharlotte.org

Now have access to DNS Simple

Modified DNS as follows Created A record for emergence.codeforcharlotte.org, pointed at 104.236.252.84 Created ALIAS instead of A for the apex, pointed at emergence.codeforcharlotte.org Removed A record for apex Created CNAME for www, pointed at emergence Removed A record for www Created CNAME for staging, pointed at emergence
