We discussed today that we need to be careful when normalizing the histograms. Proposals about how to achieve this are

by number of pulses
by $I_0$ monitor (FEL)
generating a new column which can be used as weights in the binning phase

Details and tests of this should be carried on in the upcoming beamtime.

The first part should be what the current histogram computes. If you have an I0 monitor of the (monochromatized) FEL intensity, this can off course be used for additional normalization. For shot-based experiments, this cannot be done on a single event level, I think, but only on the histogram level after binning, so I don't see where the third point would come into play.

jsut as any other pulse resolved column, it gets forward filled for all electrons in a pulse...
