you use dashes while I use spaces for each of the section titles. We should discuss what to use tomorrow.
should I start incorporating > in my notebooks?
Noticed a couple of spelling errors, what I do is just copy and paste all the text onto the word. It's pretty quick and catches all the mistakes.
You refer to the text but technically I don't think you should since its copyrighted.
missing some problem statements where they would be helpful.
Use "–" instead of -, have space inbetween the dash and the numbers and words, for example "5.7 – Reference States and State Properties" instead of "5.7-Reference States and State Properties"
5.1 first law
I don't know if we talk about closed, open, or isolated in another module, can't remember, but maybe mention it since you say "Important! The system must be closed. Otherwise, internal energy cannot be used alone."
5.1.3 and 5.1.4 have the same title.
I like the question! Make sure you space in between the lines of latex, it looks a bit squished.
5.2 Heat and work
Good explanation of heat and work
A portion of the introduction is in a separate cell from the rest of the introduction and learning objectives
Highlight adiabatic
5.3 Open systems and enthalpy
A portion of the introduction is in a separate cell from the rest of the introduction and learning objectives
Good breakdown of how to solve the problem statement.
5.4 Review of terms
Good and simple.
Maybe try to highlight each of these terms in when they are mentioned previously, such as in 5.1
Introduction is a larger heading than the rest.
5.5 Cv and Cp
Overall good description of Cp and Cv
you should always use latex for Cp and Cv, I noticed sometimes you use it and sometimes you don't.
In the learning objectives, the second point, it seems like Cp and Cv is the acronym for constant pressure and constant volume, maybe change it to "Understand the difference between specific heat capacity at constant pressure (Cp) and constant volume (Cv)
5.6 Questions on Cv and Cp
No title cell
I like the questions but maybe have the answers segregated for the questions with a solution heading.
5.7 Reference States and State Properties
Use the tables that I made from NIST, their under figures and module -1. you can look at my steam table section as an example.
I like the description.
5.8 Path and State functions
I talk about path dependence in 6.2, check it and let me know if I should remove it from my section. Yours is definitely more in-depth and informative.
5.9 Thermo Cheat Sheet
I like the idea. Sums up the module pretty well
The formatting is a bit messed up but should be easy to fix
5.10 Psychrometric charts and spraydrying
I hate these charts hahah
Good explination though
Highlight the key terms in 5.10.3 like relative humidity and dew point. for th multiplication symbols use "\times" or "\cdot", rather than "X" or "*". Just a thought.
5.11 The enthalpy of mixing
Make the introductikon longer, and possibly change "This notebook covers the Enthalpy of reaction." to "This notebook covers the Enthalpy of mixing."
