Thanks @jowens for suggesting a blog post about how to find a job in software performance engineering. If it fits with your vision, I could do substantial work on this, starting by calling CSAIL Alliances (who broker most relationships between our lab and industry) and also talking with industry partners that we've already interviewed (e.g., Schlumberger, Microsoft, NASDAQ, Citadel, Arrow Electronics, etc.).

Fully support this. Suggested the title is "So you want to find a job in performance engineering: collected thoughts from industry" with a target of students. Woo!
