Apply code cleanup

Some code cleanup was performed

PHPStorm code inspection was run and the following kind of fixes have been applied:

• Removal of unused imports (use statements)
• Removal of unused local variables
• Addition of dynamically declared properties
• Updates of missing PHPDoc arguments (return/param annotations)
